The Problem
Citrus Greening or “HLB,” short for Huanglongbing disease, infects citrus trees with the deadly bacteria Candidatus Liberibacter. Citrus Greening causes discoloration in the leaves of citrus trees and then kills the tree by attacking the vascular system of the plant.
This causes a blockage for essential nutrients and water, which leads to deformed fruit that falls off the branch prematurely. This fruit is unusable to citrus farmers.Around 90% of Florida's citrus trees have become infected with this terrible disease and its plan is to remove the citrus industry from the state completely. If we don't stop citrus greening now, our dedicated, hardworking farmers will lose their crops and we will be paying top dollar for our orange juice to be imported from other countries.
Our Solution
This is where our product comes in. Not only does rhamnolipid control citrus greening but, it is also eco-friendly and non-toxic.
Our easy-to-use application is applied to the roots and dispersed throughout the root system. After about 5 weeks, you will start noticing the bark of the citrus tree coming back to life and then the leaves will begin to appear greener.
We have spent numerous hours researching our rhamnolipid citrus greening application. Initial, inexpensive tests were completed in Brazil and in Europe and were successful. With the correct ratio, dilution, and results to submit to the FDA, it is time to conclude the extensive testing of rhamnolipid in the United States.
How You Can Help
Help us save our citrus trees by sharing the expense of the fees with us for the tests to be conducted at the University of California, with the premier testing researcher, Carolyn Slupsky!
After testing, we will present our product to major corporations such as Coca Cola and Tropicana.
